I started my month off with one of my favorite festivals that I never miss each year “Electric Zoo”. Armin Van Buuren, Eric Prydz and deadmau5 took center stage with classics to new music. It was a short fun filled weekend that eventually led up to the start of the first work week of September.
Things have been fast paced, busy and time has been filled with work and projects. I have been taking trips to visit my audio engineer out in New Jersey two days a week and booked solid on weekends for private events and clubs.
This is not to mention my work in the office on prepping private and club event or music projects and the admin work that comes along with that like this blog post. I went from a brisk walk to a full sprint in my progress towards this first long awaited releases. I needed to do a lot more work I was told and was learning things I never would have been able to fully understand until it was brought to my attention. I am a true believer that you cannot put a price tag on knowledge attainted. It is usually better if it is free, but sometimes you need to pay for it and that I made the choice to do.
As I soak up some sun as the warm weather comes to an end and the earth takes over with the shift in the seasons.
